mclean obviously didnt want to wear it, he comes from creggan in
derry , and before the tired old abuse starts im not a barstooler,
i just happen to admire his principles,
if he had worn it id have also respected that

Friends, family and former neighbours i would i think.

They can't be much of a "friend" if they damned him for wearing a Poppy in remembrance of all his fellow Irish men who perished in the First World War.

I doubt if his near family would damn him.

And as for his former neighbours - Fuck them!
