Ballincollig is a football town now, was always a hurling club first and foremost. It's to do with the numbers of Kerry people who have settled there. Eire Óg going the same way.

In Riverstown for St.Catherines v Dripsey. Catherines had 1-2 on the board before you could say the word relegation but the ge has swung back Dripseys way since, having trailed 1-4 to 0-01 they now lead 2-05 to 1-05 approaching the break.
