Intermediate Hurling Championship 2014

Round One

Aghada v Fr O Neills
Grenagh v Dripsey
Milford v Charleville
Ballygarvan v Ballincollig
Argideen Rangers v Barryroe
Fermoy v Kildorrery
Eire Og v St Catherines
Aghabullogue v Meelin

Eire Og 1 - 16 vs 0 - 12 St Catherines

Aghada 2 - 21 vs 1 - 12 Fr O Neills

Grenagh 2 - 18 vs 0 - 10 Dripsey

To be honest if you had to pick the team who played junior for the last few years, it wouldn't be Grenagh. TK ran the show from centre forward, but overall they were the slicker side and were hurling at a faster pace.

Ballincollig 1-15 ballygarvan 0-11

Lead from start to finish and had enough at half time to draw it

Some good play from both sides undone by wayward shooting. Good enough game though

Even though it's at a lower level than last year it's nice to see their hard work rewarded with a win in the championship

Milford 0 - 14 vs 0 - 20 Charleville

Argideen Rangers 0 - 19 vs 1 - 9 Barryroe

Fermoy 1 - 18 vs 0 - 18 Kildorrery

Surprised to see Argideen get the win. Lost 8 straight league games in a row. Thought they' be fighting it out with Dripsey for relegation.
