Immigration Thread

Just watched the RTE Investigates doc on the protests.

Anyone who could watch that and come away thinking that the escalation of racist rhetoric and agitation in Ireland is some kind of fiction concocted by NGOs and a compliant media is either stupid or racist, and most likely both.

Disgraceful scenes.

The Gardai again showing how utterly useless they are, a journalist is being assaulted right in front of them and they look the othe way.
The Gardai aren't useless, they are hamstrung by a snowflake Justice minister who is so far out of her depth, "the crims have rights" my hole they do. You should read the regs and paperwork for using paper spray.
They will do f'all till that case against the garda doing his job is sorted as well.

Watched most of the documentary last night and the hate on display was pathetic at best and frightening at worst. What I thought was particularly frustrating about the Coolock riot is the gardai left after dismantling the encampment, they should have known there was going to be trouble and the arrest of those 10 or so scumbags at the start would have taken them out of the equation and totally diffused the situation.

They do though. It is one of the hallmarks of a civilized society.
