He is a pure scumbag, walks around the place shouting abuse at all Africans he sees regardless of their circumstances for being here. Dwyer is the same, he got put out to pasture a few months ago after asking a black school kid where he was from and why he was here. The kid as quick as a flash replied to him in Irish and he couldn’t reply

Those kids are in emergency accommodation which is generally B&Bs and hotels.

As are their parents. It’s a terrible position to be in, but sleeping rough and “homeless” are two different things. I got the impression he was referring to the shelters like Simon, etc.
