The body of Moors Murderer Ian Brady remains in a morgue two months after his death as undertakers have refused to touch him, it was reported last night.

Funeral arrangements have yet to be made for the notorious child killer , who died of lung cancer on May 15.


His body lies abandoned in the same morgue as Manchester Arena bomber Salman Abedi .

No undertaker will accept the body of the jihadi who killed 22 people when he detonated a suicide bomb at an Ariana Grande concert on May 22.

The location of the building - now dubbed 'Monster Morgue' - is being kept secret in order to prevent revenge attacks from outraged members of the public, according to the Daily Star .

Twisted Brady wanted a *gangland-style funeral so he could go out in a blaze of notoriety not seen since the Kray twins died.nd in a final insult to his victims’ families, the child killer demanded his ashes be buried on the moors where he and Myra Hindley dumped their bodies.


But councils across the country are refusing to cremate his body.

Sefton council, under which Brady lived at Ashworth security hospital, have said they would not cremate him - and several other councils have ruled it out too.

A spokesman for Sefton Council said: “Ourselves, as an authority, have not been approached by his executor to cremate his body.

“The simple answer, if asked, would be a no.”

Glasgow City Council, the area Brady was born, has also said it would also refuse any request for the notorious murderer to be cremated in the area.

A campaign was also launched to have the killer buried at the hospital where he was detained for 32 years.

Brady would remain 'in prison' forever if his final resting place was Ashworth, according to a petition launched online.

I like the idea of Brady being buried at Ashworth - the idea of him never getting out of prison is a good one.

Yarra lads, Brady was a freakin' nut. The stuff like that lad in England who beat the 5 year-old to death a few days ago is barely newsworthy these days, yet Brady lingers long, mainly I think because his accomplice was a woman. By the way, rest in hell Brady.

Brady wrote a book where he analysed other serial killers and gave his opinion on them. I don't know if I could read even though I love a bit of amateur profiling.
