For the numbers and quality at their disposal Midleton CBS are getting it very wrong and are clearly not getting the best out of the embarrassment of riches they have at their disposal.

I'm hearing that the CBS thought they were doing rocket science and go themselves tied up in knots instead of going out to win the game. Sometimes the simpler the better.

And to add to their woes...beaten by a team trained by a Tipp man

Hard luck to Charleville, it wasn't to be but they had a great run
They were a point up 3 mins in to injury time but Nenagh hit 1-2 to win 2-18 to 1-17

Ardscoil Ris Limerick 0-18 Thurles CBS 1-14 in the other semi.

Don't think so, he is Kieran Murphy from Newtown, the Cork keeper was Danny O Connell from Dromina

O Connell must not be in school in Charleville or is Murphy just ahead of him there? Charleville played very well in first half but we're closed down more once the second half began and struggled for longer periods of the second half. Could have went either way at the end.

Nenagh also scored a goal in injury time in the group game which they also won by a similar margin.

Christopher Dunne has been excellent for Charleville and a great acquisition from Hazelwood College. Just over 12 months back he was dropped off the Cork minor panel which was a poor error of judgement by the then Cork minor management. AFAIK he is available to Charleville CBS again for next season as he does his Leaving Cert in.2025.
