Today the election is held in Germany the Social Democrats, Greens, Free Democrats, Christian Democrats & AfD all looking to win. The issues range from the economy, immigration, war in Ukraine & free speech. Looks like it is set to be a very important day not just for Germany but Europe.

I spoke to someone working in the Reichstag building last year and his words were ‘it’s a shame on Germany to be moving to the far right again.’

Hopefully it’s not as strong as feared.

I don’t think Merz is Full of shit but maybe I’m wrong… he was critical of Merkels policies and correctly so and was sidelined after Merkel left the stage so looked like his political goose was cooked.

He is firm about adjusting immigration policy and Russia must be sorted out, rebuilding the Military etc..

This a watershed moment for Germany as the Economy is in big trouble and needs a steady hand at the tiller, last thing it needs is a Putin stooge and let’s be honest that’s all Merkel was…
