General Election Imminent ?

I saw some poor lackey putting FF propaganda fliers trough letterboxes at 7am this morning (so they don't have to talk to the people ?). They must be on an election footing or else this poor man is committed to the cause. He did not give me one though ... maybe he saw the look in my eye ... wise man.

There seems to be some story that FF want to sit out a term and get back into power for the 1916 celebrations.

It's optimistic to think they will only be out of power for one term.

The sad thing is that FF's twin brother FG will be next in power.No difference.

The one good thing that will come out of an election though is that Gormley and the rest of his green apes will be wiped from the map with a bit of luck.

Based on history, I think it's wholly realistic.

If they bailed now, the usual FG/Lab scene comes into play.
They have to do all the donkey work to sort the economy out.

Then they are shafted in the next election by an angry electorate and FF are back in power for another 20 years.
