A group of Gardai handed in a letter to the commissioner about new working hours.
It appears they want to dictate their rosters
Can you imagine if they were working in industry and said they want dictate thier rosters
They obviously have no idea what private employment means . It means that you work the hours the management want or you can go somewhere else.
They are living in cloud Cuckoo land with free parking free meals pension at early age etc.
No idea that the working population is paying their wages.

There was a change to their rosters during Covid.

It was never changed back.

They want it changed back.

I don't see what the issue is as to why that can't be done.

The commish told them it would be changed back, he hasn't honoured this. Also their hours have been extended 15 times in 3 years.
