MTU played brilliantly well against a seemingly very strong wind. They are in a good position now with a strong wind to their backs in the second half. Here's hoping they can push on.

Strange that MTU have Kieran Twomey in goal, a great forward and not injured to the best of my knowledge with no prior goalkeeping experience.

The goal was a killer, six points down now. DCU putting the foot down in the second half.

MTU down 2 points at half time with the wind to their backs in the 2nd half. DCU came out in the 2nd half and banged 1-1 in the first two minutes. MTU's wind was taking out of their sails after that and DCU saw it out comfortably. A pity really after playing well in the first half. Albeit, DCU looked the much higher quality side. MTU with 6 Cork seniors, I was hoping they would have finished stronger.
