Eurovision

It assures them the pink vote (which is big) in Eurovision.
JK inadvertently has given them oxygen.

That is true but sometimes you just got to call out shit when you see it.
Someone basically just lost their job because they called a man a man!
If that was me and the legend that is JK Rowling publicly supported me, I'd be feeling a lot better about my situation.

Who'd have guessed that showing solidarity with a convicted rapist isn't the PR win they hoped it would be.

Wild Youth: 'For too long stabby rapists have had no voice at Eurovision: that changes today.

Wild Youth stands in unity with stabby rapists across the globe'.

#BeKind
They aren't showing solidarity with a convicted rapist though, that's rubbish.

The issue of trans prisoners is a tiny one, and it is used my anti trans campaigners in a dog whistle "they're all dangerous perverts really" type of way.

Judge Clayson was told that back in 1988 Jade had been locked up for five years for rape and other sexual offences and in 2013 she had been jailed again for another sexual matter.

Jade will now have to serve two-thirds of a nine year jail sentence and she will then be subject to an extended licence period of three years.

She was also handed a 12-year restraining order.

Jade will serve her sentence in a male prison, after new rules banning some transgender women from female prisons in England and Wales came into force last month.

Justice Secretary Dominic Raab initially announced the measures in October affecting trans women who have male genitalia or who had committed sexual offences.

He confirmed in February that he had also updated the policy to include transgender women convicted of violent offences.

Our lawmakers would want to pull their finger out and follow suit before we have a serious incident in an Irish prison.

Utterly mental to have men incarcerated in womens prisons as they simply identify as women.
