I was sitting outside the Raven having a beer with a mate when this gaunt, sunken eyed girl appeared out of the laneway opposite. She started asking people for money then fucked off back down the laneway. The cops arrived and hauled her off into the paddy wagon. Someone in the Classics smoking area started shouting "Keep your heroin off ours streets."
I must say I'm so saddened that this shit is happening in Cork.
I knew of one guy alright who did it while I still lived there, but he had to travel to Dublin to get his fix, and then back down to the wife and kid. Nice.
