Yes. Definitely. Maybe Matlock might confirm this? I remember reading an article a few years ago stating its harder to secure a conviction in the SCC than in a jury trial.

I think we need it and posted that before but for some reason it didn't go through.

I just think there are 2 options with respect to republican defendants........

1. Make them prove they can toe the line by not pushing them through the SCC.
2. The more likely option - continue to push them through the SCC to reinforce the notion that SF or SF/IRA as some like to call them haven't gone away in a continued attempt to attack SF on all fronts.

The politically expedient, media acceptable and public perception option is 2.
The drive progress, force a certain section of SF to move, bring southern SF into mainstream politics option is 1. No wonder we are taking option 2.
