Ya, I love bass too, but I like to hear the rest of the spectrum equally well! Were your ears ringing after?

I think the sound/bass was OK for Keith Synott so maybe it was Shadow blasting the shit out of it and not a problem with the Savoy?

Nah, my ears are used to it by now.

It's always louder for the main act, which only makes a bad situation worse. The desk was peaking at the same (correct) level for both acts. IMO sound is always poor in there. The problems with that system have been described here before, so I won't go into it now, it won't change anything.

PS blonde, your ears don't "get used to" high levels, they just break. Not being a killjoy, but I've met music lovers who did the dog on it when younger, and are really regretting it now. Mind your ears, they can't be fixed when damaged by high levels.
