Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro!!

Heading east to the Balkans next summer for two weeks. I have a rough idea where I'll be for some of it but mainly for Croatia I haven't a scoobie doo as my missus has done the whole island hopping thing and not pushed on going over old ground. (sigh)

We'll have a car and will head to Mostar and Sarajevo in Bosnia and to Kotor in Montenegro?

Any other ideas or suggestions? I hear Split is worth a visit and I'd gladly force the other half to go to some island or two if they were worth it.
???

Sound!

Split is beautiful, tis worth a view. Up the coast from Split there is a national park called Krka. Well worth a day trip

If you are going to Dubrovnik, it is well worth a visit but very expensive to stay in. If ye have a car, I would recommend staying in Cavtat, about 1/2 hour drive from Dubrovnik but much cheaper to stay in. Lovely costal town, bit like Kinsale.

Mostar and Sarajevo are amazing. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. If you can find this place in Sarajevo, you should have dinner there. The steak in chili chocolate is well worth a go

The "War child" museum beside the bridge in Mostar is amazing, though quite disturbing.

Had a look at Catvat and reckon it'll be worth a visit. Good man!

Brac was my favourite island in Croatia, worth two or three days. Korcula too and Hvar if you've got the grade.

Great spot all round folks. Thanks for the info. Didn't make it out to the Croatian islands but the coastline is something else. All three countries top class.

Matlock Spilt is a gem of a city. Might move there yet.....
