It's so glaringly obvious that you don't need to be a genius and where the root of the problem is...maybe a dedicated football county board might be the way forward...plenty of raw talent in Cork just don't have a clear pathway to get to Senior level...

In the first half we had a free in front of the goal and we play it bacwards WTF. The coaching ticket comes out of this display badly.

Lads we are fucked at a schools level. We are barely registering in the City and the lads out West annually shoot their Bolt in the Corn ui Mhuiri. The conditioning of both the Kerry Minor team and their team tonight is light years ahead. We are failing there as well and paying for it.
Conor Counihan has it all in hand , he just needs another 5 years doing whatever he actually does. ZERO fucking accountability.

When you look at the age profile
Of the senior squad and the lack of squad development and then the last few u20 teams and coaching deficits and the future is bleak really, running Kerry to an honourable defeat in Killarney seems to be the high water mark for cork football

It's pathetic to watch....tryingbto handpass their way to scores, killing themselves running to collect 5 yard passes, stop, pass behind and start again. They were out on their feet by 45 minutes. Sheedy afraid of his life to take on a shot, nearly looking for permission to do so... what the fuck are they coaching kids in Cork to do....

You’re just never going to be able to hothouse talent in schools in Cork the way you do in Kerry. The place is too big, too populous and there are too many schools and competing sports.

Why not?? Only need 3 or 4 to use as hothouses as you put it..you could nearly pick those schools as it is ...

Worse thing is the last few kerry 20s teams have been average too . When was the last time we won a match in tralee

This was a bad showing. It wasn’t even too bad at half time. We had a wind behind us but just got blown away in those opening 10 mins in the second half.

The back 6 looked very light and couldn’t cope with Kerry’s strong running game. Could have been 3 or 4 more goals for Kerry in that second half. We had goal chances of our own and some of the forwards looked dangerous at times but overall we just looked way too light and coached fairly poorly to counteract that.
