Good opening quarter but it looks like Kerry have got to grips with them since then. Still in it but need to move the ball more quickly, Kerry are slowing Cork down when they try to take the ball out of defence and Cork look a bit too focused in keeping possession.

Luke Crowley is dropping out and Cork aren't getting close enough to him at all, for the goal there was no pressure on him and he could pick out the pass at his ease.

Good start to the second half. Have the wind, already looks like they are trying to kick more often and longer. Need to be more careful going long to Myers when there is an extra defender.

Carbon copy of the first half really. Kerry getting men back and we're struggling to get through them. Out to 3 again.

Five now. Cork struggling to make chances let alone score. Don't have anyone who can close Crowley down. TBF, Kerry playing well against the wind.

A shame to lose at home but i get the feeling this Cork team aint out of this Munster Championship yet. While hes still very light Hugh O Connor is one of those players that is a joy to watch...please god in the future we will make senior out of him.

Disappointing enough. Odd that they didn't press the Kerry kick-out more in the second half. Five points with the wind isn't great.

F/T 0-11 - 1-12. Kerry much better at the bread and butter of the game such as foot passing and kicking scores. They could have had 3 goals, Crowley went too high on 1st half and O'Connell made a very good save when the result wasn't in doubt. Far too much turning back and square passing by Cork when in possession.

It was a disappointing evening down the pairc. When they were up 6-3 the energy and intensity of effort seemed to drop and they conceded about 1-3 in 8-9 mins without scoring themselves. That was the defining period of the match.
As you say Kerry better at the basics both on the field of play and on the line. You’d have to again question our tactics that just didnt suit our dangerous forwards, who seemed to have the beating of Kerry. Kerry adjusted better than us with Crowley dropped deep to the 65 and Kerry had a 2nd man doubling up on Myers and cutting off the direct ball.
