Cork to London City route goes bang

I'd say it generated little or no repeat business due to the flights from there being severally delayed some of the time and half an hour to 45 minutes delayed nearly all the time.

CityJet today announced that it is to discontinue its service from Cork to London City Airport with effect from June 26.
The scheduled service only began in October.

Desperate news for the airport. Used it a few time earlier in year for work - never any issues.

I wonder will the local minister be on the radio tomorrow morning to explain. You couldn't keep him out of the studios when it was announced first and when it commenced service.

"Heralding a new exciting era for Cork airport" he said!!

Fuck, just booked flights with them from the 19th of June until the 25th.

Freaked, their free check-in bag policy would have been the job in September, as I'm moving across the water.

Loved that airport. Check out your stocks on your departure home.
