Fair play to the Glen. Obviously some serious work being put into their underage set up.![]()
2024 Minor Hurling Championship Team of the Season
Sarsfields (6) and Glen Rovers (7) dominate selection as Jack McKay picks the best 15 and subs from the P1 MHCwww.echolive.ie
Jack McKay has no idea what he is talking about so nobody takes it seriously.Fair play to the Glen. Obviously some serious work being put into their underage set up.
Not sure I agree with the concept of a journalist picking a ‘team of the season’ for 16/17 year olds. Maybe I’m just an old crank.
Exactly, a stupid idea to be honest. Plus a couple of obvious players not even mentionedFair play to the Glen. Obviously some serious work being put into their underage set up.

Personally just think great credit to all the panelists; main thing for them is to enjoy their hurling and stay involved with their club for as long as they can. Sars and Glen both top class clubs so the lads are no doubt surrounded by good mentors. Just don’t see the need to be calling out certain lads in a newspaper article. The main barometer for lads this age is how they improve their own game and represent their club.Like who?
I see your point, but it's harmless, just a bit of extra recognition. I wouldn't be reading too much in to it and I doubt any lad is going to gutted not to included in a local paper toty.Fair play to the Glen. Obviously some serious work being put into their underage set up.
