We'd love to give women and men in Cork the opportunity to discover what lacrosse is, give them a pathway to play and potentially a way to progress to playing in the Irish Lacrosse League and European/International tournaments. Perhaps even the 2028 Olympics. We've started a women's team and that is going well. We have just started a men's team as well. I wonder if we'll look back on this thread in ten or twenty years time when Cork win the Olympics and think....it all started here. And we'll be having arguments about incompetence in the Lacrosse County Board and the Lacrosse Stadium debt and whether we should be fielding players with more physicality instead of the tippy tappy fellas we put out against Tokyo in the Olympic Final.

To some, it's a bunch of people running around with butterfly catchers imitating hurling

Lacrosse is a poor man's version of polo..........I'll stick to my polo.........and don't anyone go adding an i to my polo!!
