With limerick you can run but you can't hide The bottom line is that physical contact is a given in modern hurling and any system that trys to avoid the middle third requires really powerful ball winners close to opposition goals or really good long distance shooters. Without one or both of those things you are going to have to run the ball into the death zone and survive Corks opening 15 minutes us the route to success but it requires a commitment to taking and giving hits that is patchy in the Cork team
