Cork Hurlers - Part 2

You could drive further in and park at Sandyford and get the LUAS. Change at Stephen’s green and hop out at top of O Connell street for a pint and a ticket swop discussion at the Gresham hotel

My last post until after the match folks. People of my vintage need a bit of a digital detox before the main event tomorrow. No social media or PROC for me after this until after the game.

These are special times to be a rebel. The dejection felt after letting a 7 point lead slip to The Banner down the Pairc , at the time believing that our Summer was over already, has been replaced by a giddy excitement.

We are all the lucky ones, the chosen few. The last 2 counties standing and may the better one win.

My opinion, for what it's worth, if the best version of Cork shows up and the best version of Clare shows up, then I fancy Cork to win by 4/5 points.

Clare are a formidable opponent and if they get their counter-attacking running game going against us they will be hard to beat, but they are vulnerable at the back. They have shipped goals in almost every game this year and there isn't a more potent forward line in the game at the moment than our 6.

If as we suspect Clare drop back , then the attacking rolls of Timmy, Mark and Darragh could be pivotal. Darragh is having a season for all seasons and if Mark and Timmy can get motoring as well , we have a right chance.

We have gradually gotten better this Summer and I hope we can go up just one more notch.

For those of you travelling, PLEASE take care, give yourselves plenty of time.

Until after the game tomorrow my fellow PROCers.

Rebels abú

There is beauty and love in all spots of the earth
To the heart that can call it the land of its birth
But of all the fair counties, the dearest to me
Are the green hills of Cork and my home by the Lee

Need advice here. Has anyone drove up the east coast to Dublin. Then parked up in Bray/Blacrock and darted it into Connolly. Prepaid for parking in red cow for the semi and that was full when we got there?early
I live up here,if you coming up east coast ,greystones has free park and ride about 5 mins walk from station ,bray next station in has free parking on Sunday all along seafront and side streets near station . Darts are more frequent from bray than greystones so I'd leave early and get dart from bray to connolly station .approx 50 mins journey time . Buy a return so no hassle later queuing for tickets.

Preparing for road here, safe travels to everyone. Taking my son to his first All Ireland, I still remember every bit of mine and I hope he gets a better result tomorrow than the 93 football final.
These are special days lads, enjoy every minute of it.
Stay with the team all the way, they'll need all 60k of us. One Cork, united, up the rebels!!!
