must take into account that GAA master fixtures schedule was issued 6 months ago. Nobody asked fro Hurling quarters to be on the sunday then. Not saying they shouldn't . But lets not bring another code or competition into it and make that the excuse

GAA master fixture list came out first week of December. Feile was announced in October. The GAA definitely dropped the ball here.

Nobody is making any excuses for anything and it's not about Hurling vs Football or vica versa it's about games of greater significance being allocated the correct time slots.
