Cork Hurlers - Part 2

No point buying Ticketmaster tickets yet.
I’ll wait for the good tickets to be released on Wednesday or Thursday
The other 3 sides won’t half fill Thurles between them
Ya I was kinda thinking the same but didn't want to take the chance. The time of a Saturday is beyond ridiculous where most people with kids either have training or a match Saturday morning having to make good time. Cusack will be blasting some amount of home truths on the Saturday game after over rugby without an Irish team. Our national sport ........

Ok lads here's a question for you. Who is the one player whose performance most insures team success? The one guy who, if he plays very well, you are most confident the team will win. There's obviously lots of choices but for me it's Dalton. If you tell me that Dalton has a very good outing, I'm incredibly confident Cork will win. Who's that guy for you?

Most GAA fixtures when down for a weekend are down for the Saturday or Sunday. The Tailteann Cup must have been sacred for its S finals to be so set in stone. Is it also too obvious to argue that the Tailteann fixtures and the hurling S Finals could both have taken place on Sunday with one of each not being on RTE?

For Jarlath B to praise the Sligo Chair and argue that the cup should be named after him was weird.

I cannot remember a Senior Championship match taking place at 115 certainly not involving Cork. The die hard Dublin hurling fans will travel but we should out roar them. The only pain the arse when you are the first game is the arrivals for the second game interrupting the watching. No doubt who both the Wexford and the Clare supporters will be shouting for.

Michael Kennedy is the ref.

For me it’s Dara Fitz when he is on fire the team generally win.

I really rate Dalton but for me, its Connelly. If he plays well, its usually 2 or 3 goals scored.

For me it's Brian h. He reminds me of seamus Callahan. I think Brian's ceiling could be legendary. The improvement in 1 year is a credit to him and management. He has the city swagger,

Hayes has certainty brought something new and unpredictable to the team. All three in the front line have a constant eye for goal. Hayes had a lot to do against Offaly and five defenders in the area, but he still galloped towards goal. He has certainly proved many doubters wrong in recent games.
And you’re right about the “city swagger”

Magic dust I've heard it being referred to in the meadows of south central

He’s been a revelation to be fair to him and keeps improving, the inside line are now very dangerous with Brian, Connelly and Hoggie.

It’s gives other teams a real tactical head ache, if they stand off and pack the full back line they will get picked off by the half forward / midfield and if they push up the spaces develop inside and Cork have the players to find the passes with Coleman, Fitz, Barrett, Harnedy.
