That is the last thing we should do, Robbie in the full foward line is the key to us progressing this yearO’Flynn coming out
Based on matching his Performances last year it’s Hoggy and Robbie for me but if he gets back to hos level of 2 years ago Alan Connolly could we’ll push Hoggy to the super sub role. All 3 could end up on the pitch together with Hoggy drifting and popping over points leaving the lads inside doing damageCant play those three inside, no way. Three man inside lines are going away with the dinosaur, proven to be way less effective than two and the way it’s going it could be one inside in the future with emphasis on flooding the middle on the rise.
In completely different positions and roles.
D Dalton for Cunningham if fit. Otherwise S Twomey.Connolly Flynn and Hoggy inside

TJ Reid is a completely different type of player to Hoggie. He’s adapted his game to his age and has become a very effective 14. Unlike Hoggie he’s good in the air. Hoggie needs a low ball. TJ can win both.TJ Reid is 6 months older than Hoggie. You never hear Kilkenny fans calling for him to be dropped/retired. And he really does carry that Kilkenny forward line on his back and has been with nearly a decade now. If Hoggie is fit, hungry and hurling well then I see no reason why he can't be starting again this year regardless of age. Any word on Deccie Daltons projected time frame for recovery?
Hoggie much quicker than TJ. Hoggie scored more from play in less games than TJ. Hoggie was excellent last year, he’s in super shape… he needs to demonstrate this decline before we talk it upTJ Reid is a completely different type of player to Hoggie.
