Cork Docklands Development

Very surprising to hear this, seeing as some or most of the developers are effectively in liquidation, and the government is close to it also.

Hopefully it will happen and is not just more spin.
 
It's shite news for Cork when peak oil comes and the port is 15 miles away from the actual city and centre of commerce.

There's also the fucking over of the lower harbour so that trumped up eejits can swan around in an uninhabited 'chic' docklands 'redevelopment'.

How much freight that goes through Cork is coming from or going to the city centre?
