Strange move for a successful manager not wanting to defend the title. Good luck to him and hopefully he doesn't have something serious preventing him from coaching the camogie team next year.

Urgent need now for the Camogie Board to draw up a short list of possible replacements and sound them out. As someone said about another code "You're only champions for six weeks before it starts all over again". It'd be nice to have their selection, whoever they may be, in place in good time.
