BREAKING Daniel Kane (53) of Scariff House, Waterville Terrace, Blanchardstown, Dublin, has been jailed for 10.5 years for the most horrendous physical and emotional abuse of his ex-girlfriend over a 20mth period. He still hasn’t apologised to her and has shown zero remorse.



First conviction under this legislation. Horrific case. Fair play to the judge.

BREAKING: A 53 year old man who subjected his former partner to broken bones, black eyes and skull lacerations has been jailed for 10.5 years. The Dublin man found guilty of multiple assaults and intimidation became the first person to be convicted by a jury of*coercive*control.


Daniel Kane (53) of Scariff House, Waterville Terrace, Blanchardstown, Dublin 11 was caught when a doctor became so concerned for the woman's welfare she contacted gardai. It was the 20th time she had attended hospital. The violence was accompanied by ongoing emotional abuse.
