camera obscura

i actually haven't looked forward to a gig this much in a long long time. very excited. anyone else?

Yeah should be pretty good, wonder what kind of a crowd they'll get, last album got a lot of good press.

when i saw them in glasgow last year it was "twee fuckers". Belle and Sebastian fans abandoned by their last album.
As for Cork i reckon it will be the same people that go and see credible bands that pass through (devendra banhart, yo le tengo, CSS and tilly and the wall (what a gig) etc etc.

We're in for a treat either way.

what do you mean?

for which part? in for a treat? well we were, it was a great show.

as for the other thing, in scotland they seem to attract the sort of crowd that used to be into Belle and Sebastian, but were unimpressed by dear catastrophe waitress and life pursuit.
Music scene in Cork is so small that you see the same people at all the reputable shows that go on.

i still don't understand how people can be let down by DCW, it's a great album.
gig was good, they seemed a little... tired? end of tour fatigue methinks.
