What is his Cork connection?Great player, with Cork blood. He was majestic in midfield. Came up with some huge scores and outstanding high fielding. Only 31 so certainly a shock retirement. Never lost a game for Dublin between his debut and winning his 6th All Ireland medal.
His dad’s from outside Killarney, not sure where his mam was from? Great player. Don’t think it’s a bombshell announcement. He had 6 all irelands medals, played at top level for years.
