Best Pizza in Cork

Apache Pizza in Douglas..

The female staff taking orders at the counter could seriously do with some decorum lessons..

When approaching the counter to deliver an order the most common greeting is “yah?”

They consistently get orders wrong and when asked about an incorrect order the common retort is “so?, we’re busy like..”

Serious attitude from these ‘ladies’

There is some savage pizza to be got in Douglas, Palmento and Oak fire are both unreal and dominos and Donnatellos are decent.

I wouldn’t give Apache to the dog and that’s before you deal with the buffoons working there.

Can't recommend learning how to make pizza highly enough m8s.

Because bandonY is a pseudonym for legendY, here's a fool proof recipe for 2 small pizzas:

Poolish:
130g water
130g 00 Flour
2g fresh yeast or 1g dry yeast

Mix together, leave at room temp for an hour and into the fridge for 24 hours.

80g flour
15g water
6g sea salt or 3g table salt

Mix with poolish and knead. That's your pizza base. Dive into 2 and form into balls, rest, etc.

Preheat your grill to high, warm an empty stainless pan till it's very hot. Lay your stretched dough into the pan and let it bake a bit. Sauce and top and when the under part is cooked put it under your screaming hot ore heated grill.

You're welcome.
