Berlin, Barcelona or Amsterdam?

Seeing as Aer Lingus are terminating their Prague route from Cork on 3rd November, they've offered me a full refund or a change in destination, or a flying out of Dublin.

I'd prefer a direct flight from Cork so it's Berlin, Barcelona or Amsterdam to fit in with the dates I've booked off work. The guy I'm going with doesn't care, he just wanted to fill his suitcase with cheap fags in Prague. He probably won't get them as cheap anywhere else.

So, where to go? Anyone know a reasonable 4* hotel near the city centres of these cities? Save me a night doing a net search.

depends what you are into, music/clubbing berlin by a mile, smoking obviously the dam, Barcelona has a bit of everything
