Benny does it again.

Fairplay. He's always believed a barman should be more than a fella serving drink, a pub should have charm & the TV should only go on for special occasions.

The mans a gent and all power to him.

That said there's been a fair few langers behind in the bar in his pubs over the years.

The Mutton Dagger is unreal, plus fantastic old dolls behind the bar there.

I don't understand that comment at all.

Is CAMRA even active in Ireland?

Doh

It was a pun , on the Camera related stuff in the pub .

CAMRA isn't active in Ireland , but CAMRA members do often holiday in Ireland .

The last one I bumped into was impressed by the cask ales available in Cork , and the little renaissance that's happening here ...

Ah! Sometimes I think I need to be tested for muppetitis.

I go on CAMRA trips to the UK every month or so. Birmingham was the last one.

I can recommend The Wellington if you're ever there, Wallace.

not to worry .

I don't think I'll be taking any foreign trips for a while , but I'll pass the recommendation of the Wellington on to the lads in the club . Some Might be interested in a trip this year

( We're going to Galway next weekend for a beer festival in Oslo .)
