Idealista.com is the main port of call of rentals these days, and people do advertise ones for shorter stays (estancia corta) there, when they go away for a few months, etc, and those work out a lot cheaper than what you'd find on Airbnb.

I used to use Loquo when I moved there in 2009 (not just for flats, for all kinds of stuff) but as far as I can remember, the site is gone these days.
