anyone know portlaoise?

Im getting the aircoach tommorrow, the stop in portlaoise is at the heath??I dont have a clue where that is so i rang aircoach to see if it was near the town and they said "just outside" that could really mean anything. I have to meet people in the town and just want to know if its walkable, or close by???

The Heath is not exactly "just outside" the town itself, it's walkable but if I'm right it's a good 2 miles or more.

yeah i know its like some little petrol station and shop, i stopped at it before but i didnt pay much attention to where i was. I spose they might ring a taxi or something in the shop if i ask. Ill have massive backpack so dont fancy 2mile walk. If anyone else is getting the 5 o clock bus you're welcome to share taxi or help find some way there when we get there ...obviously talking about electric picnic here, not just randomly inviting people for a trip up to portlaoise
