anyone else on here a cocteau twins fan?

Funnily enough, I only listened to them for the first time the day before yesterday when I downloaded 'Heaven or Las Vegas'.
They sound pretty cool and like nothing I've ever heard before.

Great album, great band - used to spin it regularly in post-club chill out mode.
Was that the album rumoured to be the first one she actually wrote lyrics for?

yeah - that's the one - she used actual English words.
but the sentences were the usual Cocteau gibberish.

probably their best album though.

Heaven or Las Vegas is the one for me as well. A good introduction to the band as well for anyone who's thinking of having a listen. I like Treasure a lot and Victorialand is good also. Haven't heard any other albums though. Bought the three This Mortal Coil albums recently. If you like the Cocteau Twins you'll like this band as well. Same etheral pop rock. Sublime.

I’ve got all their stuff. The later releases had more lyrics in the english language. Fantastic live – no keyboards with sets saturated in colour. Many described it as a religious experience. If they played stuff at Mass when I was young I’d be a monk by now.

How many Cocteau Twins does it take to change a lightbulb?

3. One to change the lightbulb and two to go "spingle spangle spongle" in the background.
