Antivirus 2010

Anyone ever get this complete bastard of a virus? Has my computer rendered pretty much useless. Have tried malawarebytes, spybot search and destroy, system restore all to no avail.

Worst virus I've ever come across. Tries to fool you that it's a Microsoft anti-virus program with continuous pop-ups, scans and even shuts down my computer when it feels like it.

Any help appreciated.

you will probably need to download to another computer and then copy to a usb key to transfer to infected machine. install and run then update the program and run again.

The biggest pain about this virus is that when you google a solution you end up getting page after page of various programs that claim to solve the problem. Not good.

Download Combofix from www.combofix.org and run it in safe mode. Works everytime.

Reprogram it and install Kaspersky Antivirus in your pc.

This worked. Deleted malwarbytes, re-installed it again, updated, and it finally got rid of the bastarding virus.
