Ana Kriegel

It would be interesting to know how stable the home environment is,
The logical conclusion is to think he comes from a troubled home life but
it doesnt always be the case, i have a seven year old boy who is on the spectrum and struggles socially with his peers i constantly strive to ensure he
making progress and will be able to deal with life as he grows, the fear is that some kids will go off the rails all we can do is our very best ,

A big difference between going off the rails and doing what these lads have been accused of.

Some people are just wired wrong and inherently evil.

I wonder with early intervention is there any hope for some kids or
as you say are they just wired wrong from day one ?

For some lads who end selling drugs or whatever. A lot of those types could have turned out differently if they came from more soild backgrounds.

This type of depraved shite is on another level though.

Tragic on a number of levels

I'm sorry I've no truck for this. What 13 year old. .fuck that what kind of person sexual assaults and beats to death a 14 year old girl with a brick and sticks. .barbaric. .These fuckers are beyond evil. .They will do well to make it to prisin and beyond as tensions must be high..

Boy, 13, accused of murdering Ana Kriegel applies for bail
The child appeared at the High Court in Clover Hill Court House on Wednesday

A 13-year-old boy accused of the murder of Ana Kriegel has asked a court to free him from custody while his case is prepared for court.

The child, who cannot be identified by law due to his young age, appeared at the High Court in Clover Hill Court House on Wednesday.

He is charged with the murder of Ana Kriegel, 14, at Glenwood House, Laraghcon, Clonee Road, Lucan on May 14 last.

Her body was found at the disused farmhouse three days later.

The youngster appeared at the court accompanied by his parents and his grandfather. He sat for a time alone in court watched over by gardai but then joined his parents.

Judge Robert Eager heard evidence from Inspector Mark O'Neill, who is leading the investigation.

He objected to bail on a number of grounds and gave evidence to the court outlining the garda investigation.

Judge Eager made an order that none of this evidence can be reported for legal reasons.

The case was adjourned until this Friday at Clover Hill Court House when the Judge will give his ruling on the application.
