Incidentally I notice that a few bars around the City are doing special Burns Night suppers, with Haggis and whiskey etc. Must be a good few Scots around the place.
I knew a Scottish fella in Cork a few years ago, he was grand like but I wouldn't be going to visit his family. Tbf it'd probably be odd enough if I did come and meet his family as I only worked with him for a few weeks, and we never really spoke.
