Actions that changed your life not insignificantly

I'm sure there is a story here somewhere..or maybe not, also surely there was an event that inspired you to want the chemistry set..like for example your uncle interfered with you
Unbelievably perceptive of you. When I was carrying out an experiment from the set which involved using ammonia as a catalyst I exclaimed "Wow - that smells just like uncle Peter's cock". Years of counselling, solicitors and court rooms. Utterly life changing.

My twins being born prematurely and one of their hands just covering my thumbnail ---cemented my views on abortion as I saw them struggle for life

...Casually mentioning that I might go to the US for the summer and he said: "You should go to Maine."

23 years later...still there...here.

On a lesser level:

Sitting in my car doing a phone interview for an internship in London.
I swore I was not going to 'live' in London, but go for the 3 months, and then either to continental Europe or the U.S.

I got the internship. That was January 2006.
