It was the players who drove the show after the county final, management told them they wouldn’t be pushing the players unless the players wanted it. So yes the club downed tools, the players didn’t and fair fucks to them

The club hardly just downed tools. Sounds like everyone got behind them. They are a proud club. Management deserve huge credit too. Obviously the buy-in and the appetite from the players was there in spades and by God they showed it in the Munster campaign.

I see Sars are 8/13 favourites on Sunday. Slaughtneil are 13/8. In the other semi Na Fianna are 8/15 and Loughrea are 15/8.

Outright odds are: Na Fianna 6/4, Sars 2/1, Loughrea 4/1 and Slaughtneil 4/1.

I think the bottom line is if Sars bring the same intensity to the plate this weekend, as they did in the Munster Final, they should have enough hurling to beat Slaughtneil. I hope they do bring it. Slaughtneil will be tough opponents and have plenty of experience at this stage.

1pm on tg, should be a cracker, Slaughtneil have been around the block a few times so will be tough opponents, might be difficult for Sars to go to the same level again as the last day, if they do they should win.
