Very true, Fergal O Mahony who was a great goalie for us, spent a decade as sub goalie to Ger Blue, and poor Brian Hurley was third keeper for a while behind them. There was interest from Delaneys in Brian at the time but fair play to him he stayed with the Barrs

And it worked. Cathal actually did relegate them with a few booming late frees in that game ???

Think he played in goal in the 93 Munster semi final, Ger Blue was full foward ? That was it though I’d say as Ger played till 98? and Fergal took over then for the next decade

Once in club championship, it was either Munster club in 93 or maybe an early round of the county championship in 94, either way it didn’t happen again ?
