Very true, Fergal O Mahony who was a great goalie for us, spent a decade as sub goalie to Ger Blue, and poor Brian Hurley was third keeper for a while behind them. There was interest from Delaneys in Brian at the time but fair play to him he stayed with the BarrsThat’s the issue with a lot of big clubs where players capable of playing at a higher level are stuck in the clubs 2nd or 3rd team due to the number of players available.

Once in club championship, it was either Munster club in 93 or maybe an early round of the county championship in 94, either way it didn’t happen again ??
