I can accept the reasoning behind why they are not doing the Season Ticket for Club matches the same way as last year

But they have had nine months to find a better way of doing it !

Some interesting games this weekend. Championship looks more open than ever this year IMO.

Going for Kanturk to beat Erins Own who were poor in the league this year.

St Finbarrs to beat the Rockies but should be a good game. Both teams should get out of the group

Newtownn should surely beat Bishopstown Who should finally get relegated this year. Already been relegated to divison 4 in the league.

Surprise of the weekend i reckon will be Charleville beating Midleton. Game being played in Mourne Abbey should suit them.

Sarsfields to beat Douglas with a bit to spare.

And i think Fr O Neills will just about beat Newcestown but with Newcestown anything is possible as this stage i suppose

A good chance for the Cork Senior champions to make a Munster Club Final. The Clare champions obviously won't be easy but it is still bye to a semi final and avoiding Ballygunner.

Also, it is disappointing that there is no Cork club season ticket this year. I've been using a club season ticket with the last 4 seasons. I've gone to more games than I would normally go to. But now the fact that I've to pay into every game will discourage me going to some games.

They are losing touch with the people on the ground. The season ticket is is a small gesture ( and not free either ) to those who are avid local gaa supporters, its is penny pinching in an attempt to build revenue. They would do well to remember those at grass roots who dedicate so much of their time to their local gaa clubs.

People aren’t going to matches anymore.
Lots of reasons for that.
The digital season ticket was being abused by the minority unfortunately.

Newtown are a very underrated team, they are a hardy bunch with a good few handy players and a very reliable free taker. I see them getting out of the groups this year.
