Goes to show how competitive this grade is. The best grade in Cork club hurling top to bottom in my view. All 3 games could go anyway.

Kilworth. Would be a big set back to Kilworth if relegated after reaching the final last year, just shows how competitive this championship format is.

The trajectory of last years two finalists really couldn't be more different. The game was a draw at 18 each when Kilworth were blown for a throw ball with a minute or two left. Eoin Carey was the recipient of the pass with half the pitch to himself which most likely would have resulted in a point, instead Castlelyons score the free and see out the game. Now they're in the quarter finals with a fair shot at making a semi and Kilworth are staring down the barrel of relegation. Probably the most entertaining grade pound for pound there is.

Cracker of a game. Very evenly matched teams. Bradley from Aghabullogue put on a serious display of free taking.

Kilworth the sharper hurlers but Aghabullogue worked like demons.

Whichever team goes down won’t be down for long.

Savage game, bradley must have struck 1-5 from play also. If kilworth quieten him anybit in the replay I cant see aghabullogue winning. ref got escorted to the dressing rooms by blarney stewards ?
