2023 Intermediate A hurling

From what I'm told Cloughduv could be a relegation team this year, Lots of player traveling or gone for other reasons since last year. Might be just talk but could be a huge shock after so much hard work.

Hard to know what you will get with second teams in this grade. What are peoples thoughts on rankings heading into championship? Looks relatively open.

Fancy Cloughduv to pull it off but wouldn’t be surprised if Sars got there depending on who they have, Lisgoold also up there next I feel. Will go Douglas for relegation, though again, second teams are so hard to call.

This is another grade I like. Not a whole pile between the teams. I wouldn’t have tipped Dungourney last year so were a surprise winner for me. I think Lisgoold will win this out but you never know again with the 2nd teams like Sars and Midelton who are strong in this grade

Weekend fixtures
Youghal v Lisgould - Lisgould
Mayfield v Blackrock - Hesitant tip toward Blackrock
Cloughduv v Midelton - going to tip Midelton
Douglas v Ballygiblin - Ballygiblin for me even if they had a poor league. Would be interested to see what Douglas side lines out lot of talent coming through with recent minor wins
Sars v Kildorrey - Sars
Aghbullogue v Aghada - Aghbullogue for me

Youghal v Lisgoold - Lisgoold
Mayfield v Blackrock - Mayfield
Cloughduv v Midelton - Midelton
Douglas v Ballygiblin - Ballygiblin
Sars v Kildorrey - Sars
Aghabullogue v Aghada - Aghabullogue

Kildorrery are missing 5 starters from last years team due to ladss travelling so will have a tough assignment v Sars. They have a very tight panel and will be relying on their go-to players such as Peter O Brien, Mikie Walsh and James Keating. Sars on the other hand used over 30 players in the Senior Hurling League so should have a big panel to choose from. Lisgoold will give it a fair rattle this year i reckon.
