Was very excited about Sherlock in a red jersey earlier in the club season. His performance in the county final and since then have really shown me he will make no major impact at county level against real tight markers. Too slow.

I think that’s a fair assessment, I love the guy and he has been superb for us all year but he might lack that bit of speed and aggression needed for inter county. Hopefully he will get a run of games to stake a claim for a starting spot
