Irish international Football Thread

Yeah doesn't look like much difference at this stage. I'd rather Slovakia or Wales (other than being sick of them) out of pot 2 over Iceland/Finland from pot 3, for example.

I think most fans accept that the next campaign will be a continuation of the building process and to be honest, Qatar?

Brighton and Ireland midfielder Jason Molumby has completed a loan move to Preston North End.

The 21-year-old links up with international team-mates Sean Maguire and Alan Browne at Deepdale - who he says helped persuade him to make the move until the end of this season.

The Waterford native has won five Ireland caps since his international debut but has found Premier League minutes hard to come by at Brighton. He made just one league appearance this season for The Seagulls along with two in the EFL Cup following a successful loan at Millwall last season.

They attempted to land the midfielder on a permanent deal but had a bid rejected by Brighton, with Preston swooping to sign Molumby on a temporary basis.

Ireland v France tonight. The manager comes across like a good Dub. Solid.

Talks about taking jobs in America she was offered and saying she has loyalty to Ireland, which might be stupid, but it is inspiring.

Seems like it'll be a good game. On RTÉ 2 now.
