Far from it. East Cork is underrated in a big way. It would hold its own with most full counties.

Apart from the biggest visitor attraction in the county of course. Throw in Spike and also Ballycotton cliff walk for good measure. And one of the largest whiskey distilleries in the country.

tbh the best thing about Youghal is its not far from Dungarvan
that and the fact you don't have to drive through it anymore

Youghal?!?!?!
If ever a town went down the plug-hole it's Youghal. Formerly it was a place of circumstance but today it has little of note apart from being just off the road to Ardmore!

That's gas timing, on a trip back from Inch beach today through Midleton meself and herself were only talking about how handy east cork is for access to the sea, the motorway and the city.....and we expressed surprise about how little attention Midleton (and its environs) get as a great place to live, particularly when you include the train line.

Gas, we were at Inch as well.
