Lynch knew, and it wasn't until it was about to break that he offered sacrificial lambs.
Boland resigned saying the cabinet knew about it including Lynch and the minister of defence.

Depends on who you would believe, Lynch or Boland.

Yes we know the IRA failed in their Scum terrorist campaign. In the 3 decades of the Troubles there were less than 3,500 people killed in total by all sides involved - an average of about 2 per week. That was obviously 2 per week too many. But today we see the IDF killing over 30,000 Palestinians in less than 30 weeks. The IRA killed roughly 1 per week on average and became "the world's best known terrorist organisations for 3 decades", while the IDF are portrayed as a Defence Force killing roughly 1,000 per week on average. Think about that.
Lynch didn't know what three of his own Ministers were up to?
I find that very hard to believe [(c) Maxwell Smart]

Now stop with the jealousy.
IDF are something your hero's never were but a proper army.
*whataboutery*Absolutely nothing imho, and it was a deplorable act that killed them.
As a matter of interest can you name any of those people who died in the Dublin and Monaghan Bombings which were done thanks to influence, training, financing, and provisioning of Loyalists by members of the British forces?
The bombing of innocent civilians is reprehensible whether a warning is given or not, you vile pathetic blood thirsty tramp.No-warning bombing of innocent civilians going about their ordinary day in their own homeland is reprehensible no matter who does it.
Yes that they are and my apologies for not mentioning that.
Both murderous thugs though!
